1. Shahrukh Khan

The King Khan of Bollywood and the human version of charm, Shahrukh Khan completed BA in Economics from Hansraj College. Like most of us paupers, he was also broke during his college days. Somehow he still completed his studies and went on to become one of the most popular actors in the world.

2. Amitabh Bachchan

 This 75-year old Kirorimal College alumnus needs no introduction. We all have grown up watching his movies and mimicking his dialogues. Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly a legend, who started from the same platform as ours and earned fame and respect worldwide.

3. Shashi Tharoor

 Shashi Tharoor, the legend who changed the face of politics in India is a St Stephen’s College graduate. A history honours student, he is the most humble person when he is not working, which sets an example of being down to earth even when we have everything.

4. Khushwant Singh

The late writer and a prominent diplomat, Khushwant Singh is an alumnus from St Stephen’s College. He is best known for his write-up about India-Pakistan partition. His life, work and qualifications inspire people to date and make him stand out from the crowd.

5. Imtiaz Ali

 One of the leading directors and story writers in Bollywood in the present age, Imtiaz Ali completed his bachelors in English from Hindu College. The founder of the Drama Society of the college, the days spent in college remain closest to his heart till date. To re-live his college days, he frequently visits the college and interacts with students there.

6. Rajat Sharma

The most influential journalist and star in the TV world, Rajat Sharma is an ex-student of SRCC. The Padma Bhushan award winner was an active member of the Students’ Union and is now the life of the popular show “Aapki Adaalat”.

7. Rannvijay Singh

 Who doesn’t love Rannvijay Singh, the ultimate roadie! An alumnus of Hansraj College who climbed up the media ladder with his entry into MTV Roadies, he now leads many TV shows and has a crazy fan following. He does not miss a single chance to praise his college and talk about his experiences there, playing basketball being his favourite.

8. Gaurav Kapur

 While watching IPL, apart from cricket, we also fall in love with the amazing oratory skills of Gaurav Kapur, an alumnus of Sri Venkateswara College. A prominent VJ and an amazing actor, Gaurav’s role in the movie “A Wednesday” is admired by all the critics.

9. Sheila Dixit

 The former chief minister of Delhi and an ex-student of Miranda House, Sheila Dixit is an inspiration in herself. An important icon for women empowerment and an idol in the political field, she was a student of history and has dedicated her life to her country.

10. Papon

 We would be lying if we said that Papon’s high energy songs do not make our feet happy. A revolutionary singer in Bollywood, Angaraag Mahanta, aka Papon, is a Ramjas College alumni. Although he dropped the college half-way to join Motilal Nehru College in South Campus, he continues to be a pride of Ramjasiites.
